Our mission is to help our local community understand and protect themselves from risk both locally and globally.- Reporting to Head of Business Development - Employee Benefits, the Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients to exceed sales targets and develop relationships to support sustained growth, increase margins and improve client retention.**Job Accountabilities**
- As Client Relationship Manager, your role will involve:
- Create, develop and manage relationships with major clients to influence them to do business with Zurich.
- Manage existing clients into profit by increasing member take up and developing relationships for repeat sales and referrals.
- Project manage work site campaign products and services in order to increase the margin.
- Attendance as required at Beauty Parades, Trustee and Client meetings.
- Contribute to the tactical and strategic development of the proposition and engage larger existing clients in the development.
- Test and evaluate Sales and Distribution processes and systems and provide recommendations for improvement to facilitate the continuous development of efficient working practices.
- Maintain oversight of service delivery to the customer, taking responsibility for escalated cases and providing coaching to other team members to ensure service expectations are fulfilled.
- Investigate and assess unusual and/or complex customer/distributor queries or service requests and/or claims and employ established techniques to determine an appropriate course of action.
- Build, develop and manage relationships with customers/distributors to promote the organization´s propositions, and implement distributors’ terms of business with the organization including negotiation, new offer and closures and terminations.
- Identify opportunities and steer business to deliver sales against customer/profitability targets and quality measures.
- Work closely with colleagues in other functions to ensure sales campaigns are executed effectively.
- Monitor performance of assigned distributors against set expectations, identify performance gaps, define actions or make recommendations to the organization´s leadership (e.g. termination of agreements).

**Job Qualifications**
- To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Finance and 8 or more years of experience in related field
- Other professional qualifications such as; AFPC (Pensions), APMI, IMC
- Familiarity with customer needs and those of their advisers
- Strong institutional investment knowledge, confidence in dealing with complex investment scenarios, liaison with Trustees and Investment specialists at EBCs
- An ability to understand, interpret and translate customer requirements into deliverables A good understanding of DC pensions and an awareness of current pensions issues
- Good understanding of the compliance requirements affecting dealings with Intermediaries, Trustees, Companies and members
- Understanding of ZCS

- Advanced sales and presentation skills
- Strong reputation for delivery against sales and expense targets
- Relationship management skills at all levels both externally and within the organisation
- Excellent communication, influencing and motivation skills
- Business planning and organisation skills
