Current Hiring**:Demi Chef de Partie**

Job Summary: As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, assisting the Chef de Partie in overseeing and managing the culinary operations. You will be responsible for supervising the kitchen staff, coordinating food preparation, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a smooth workflow. Your culinary expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our kitchen and the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.

**Responsibilities**:
1.) Food preparation and production:

- Assisting in the preparation of mise en place (preparation and organization of ingredients) for various dishes.
- Executing specific tasks related to the preparation of appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, or desserts.
- Ensure that all food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils are clean, sanitary, and in proper working condition.

2.) Cooking:

- Cooking and assembling dishes according to the established recipes and standards.
- Ensuring that food is cooked to the correct temperature and meets quality standards.

3.) Station Management:

- Managing and maintaining a specific section or station in the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry).
- Coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

4.) Quality Control:

- Monitoring the quality of ingredients and finished dishes.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of the kitchen and customers.

5.) Menu Development:

- Collaborating with the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in creating new dishes or modifying existing ones.
- Contributing ideas for menu development and improvement.

6.) Training and Supervision:

- Training and supervising junior kitchen staff, such as Commis Chefs or Kitchen Assistants.
- Ensuring that all team members follow proper culinary techniques and safety guidelines.

7.) Inventory Management:

- Assisting in the management of kitchen inventory, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Minimizing wastage and controlling costs.

8.) Team Collaboration:

- Collaborating with other members of the kitchen brigade to maintain a cohesive and efficient working environment.
- Communicating effectively with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and other team members.

9.) Adaptability:

- Adapting to changes in the kitchen environment and handling pressure during busy service periods.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations and ability to enforce proper procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with kitchen staff, management, and other departments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the operational needs of the kitchen.

Starting Salary: AED 2,700.00

Pay: AED2,700.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
