We at **LEO International HR Consultancy** are seeking a **Purchasing Manager** for our Construction client in UAE. This is a well-known company for its Industrial design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning with more than 40 years of experience

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Purchasing Manager to oversee our procurement process and manage our purchasing team in the construction industry. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that all purchases are made in a cost-effective and timely manner to support our construction projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and forecast material needs.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine material and equipment requirements.
- Lead and supervise a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and track material usage to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring that orders are placed accurately and timely.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers, including quality concerns, delivery delays, and invoicing discrepancies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of purchases, expenditures, and supplier performance.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
