_**Job Summary**:_

**As a Sous Chef in a celebrity chef restaurant, you will play a vital role in assisting the head chef and contributing to the overall success of the culinary operations. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the kitchen staff, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are met, and maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Assist the head chef in menu planning, recipe development, and culinary creations to maintain the restaurant's unique identity and satisfy the discerning tastes of the clientele.

Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to all food preparation and safety standards, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.

Monitor the quality of food preparation, presentation, and portioning to maintain consistency and meet the restaurant's high standards.

Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to develop new menu items and specials, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring timely and efficient food production, while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations and minimize waste.

Work closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience, including timely preparation and plating of dishes.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and innovations, and share knowledge and inspiration with the culinary team.

Assist in the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff, promoting a positive and professional work environment.

Support the head chef in administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and menu costing.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Proven experience as a sous chef or in a similar role, preferably in a high-end or celebrity chef restaurant.

In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, culinary trends, and industry best practices.

Exceptional culinary and creative skills, with a passion for food and a commitment to delivering a memorable dining experience.

Strong leadership and management abilities, with the capacity to supervise and motivate a diverse team of kitchen staff.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the kitchen team and interact with front-of-house staff and customers.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant's operational hours.

Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred, but not mandatory.

Working in a celebrity chef restaurant can be demanding and fast-paced, but it offers an exciting opportunity to work with renowned culinary professionals and contribute to a dynamic and innovative culinary experience.

**Salary**: AED3,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
