The role of a Business Intelligence Analyst involves gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to identify trends and insights. This position requires creating reports to present findings to stakeholders, aiding in decision-making. You will collaborate with a talented team of analysts and work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure data is effectively utilised for strategic planning and operational improvement. In this impactful role, you will help shape and optimise Mumzworld's analytical framework, directly influencing high-level decision-making and overall business performance.
- Work collaboratively with the Operations and Data team to provide analysis that will support ongoing operation and ecommerce efforts and key initiatives
- Developing a KPIs framework including managerial, strategic and operational KPIs for the operations team
- Developing an analytics and reporting framework that utilises best practices to measure and optimise data activities and assist data-driven decisions
- Responsible for all the recurring reporting for the technology and operations teams utilising multiple data sources (Google analytics, Rjmetrics, Magento, BigQuery, NetSuite, MySQL, Airflow)
- Conducting Ad-hoc analysis and finding actionable insights to maximise revenue, and to reduce logistic and operational costs.
- Analysing and assess the performance of online marketing campaigns and translate quantitative and qualitative data into recommendations and action items for optimised campaign strategies
- Presenting findings and insights in professional reports to all levels including the senior management team
- Continuously learning and evaluating new analytics technologies and stay up-to-date on new trends and tools
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Good knowledge of Google Analytics / BigQuery / Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with data visualisation platforms like Tableau / Looker, Excel, Google Sheet
- Experience with cloud based data warehouses; BigQuery, Redshift
- Good knowledge of Python and/or other scripting languages
- E-commerce experience is a must
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Proven analysis and problem-solving skills
- Be able to communicate complex ideas in a simple way to a wide range of audiences
- Ability to learn new tools and develop knowledge quickly
- Must have a driving licence (Warehouse visits)
