Breakfast Hostess

As a Breakfast Hostess at a 4-star hotel, you will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience for our guests during breakfast service. You will greet and seat guests, assist with inquiries, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the breakfast area. We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests warmly as they arrive for breakfast service, engaging with them in a friendly and professional manner.
- Seat guests promptly, taking into account their seating preferences and table availability, and assisting with high chairs or special accommodations as needed.
- Provide menus and inform guests about breakfast options, specials, and any dietary restrictions or allergens present in the menu items.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they have everything they need to begin their meal, including utensils, condiments, and beverages.
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences, dietary needs, or restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the breakfast area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops, and replenishing condiments and supplies as needed.
- Monitor dining room activity, anticipate guest needs, and assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management or other departments as needed.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and dining room staff to ensure smooth service flow and minimize wait times for guests.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, to ensure a safe and hygienic dining environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests and provide exceptional service with a smile.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and outgoing personality, with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to enhance the guest experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.
- Professional appearance with a neat and well-groomed appearance.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including familiarity with breakfast menu items and procedures, is advantageous.
