We are a ship management company registered in the Dubai Free Zone, specializing in providing high-quality ship management and maintenance services. We manage various types of vessels, including bulk carriers and general cargo ships, offering comprehensive technical support and maintenance solutions, with particular expertise in handling heavy cargo operations and management. To meet our onshore management needs, we are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Marine Superintendent to join our team and contribute to delivering the best ship management services.

(Requires work outside of regular business hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary).

**Responsibilities**:
1)Familiarization of Voyage and Time Charter contracts requirements pertaining to his/her voyages and manage post fixture matters.

2)Proper voyage planning with the objective to optimize time saving and revenue, reduce costs, gather all required information.

3)Elaboration of (optimal) bunkering plan.

4)Providing timely and detailed instructions to the masters of his/her fleet.

5)Appointing and instructing agents, surveyors, stevedores, weather routing company in a timely manner.

6)Managing Voyage; i.e., monitor proactively all participants and initiate pre-emptive or corrective action whenever required.

7)Preparing freight/hire billings, approving payment of hires and miscellaneous vendors invoices.

8)Ensuring the full voyage accounting including closing voyages.

9)Monitoring the issuance and on-forwarding of all cargo documents.

10)Enforcing the company’s operational security, environment policies.

11)Working closely with our contract partners and maintaining the company’s high service standards and reputation.

12)Performing other varied tasks, including post-voyage analysis (financial and statistical), maintaining IMOS VIP

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a Fleet Shipping Operator or Shipping Chartering
- Sea-going experience is an asset
- Knowledge of the bulk /mpp shipping industry
- Knowledge of Maritime Operating System such as IMOS, a preferred asset
- Organized, fast worker, possessing the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Inquisitive and logical
- Results driven and strong problem solver
- Ability to control costs and understand marine time law
- Ability to build relationships and develop trust
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Flexible to work outside of office hours
- Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and or other collaboration technology tools
- Honesty, integrity, commitment to professional excellence, regard for employees and corporate responsibility define our values.
- Age below 45 years old.
