Job Title: Upholstery Attendant

**Salary**: Up to 2,200 AED per month

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect upholstered furniture and fixtures for damages, stains, or wear and tear, and determine appropriate repair or maintenance needs.
- Clean upholstered surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques, ensuring the removal of stains, dirt, and odors.
- Perform minor repairs and touch-ups to upholstered items, such as re-stitching seams, replacing buttons, or patching tears or holes.
- Vacuum and brush upholstery fabrics to remove dust, debris, and pet hair, and restore their appearance and texture.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff to schedule and prioritize upholstery repair and cleaning tasks.
- Maintain an inventory of upholstery cleaning supplies and materials and request replenishment as needed.
- Handle and store upholstery cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
- Uphold cleanliness and orderliness in the upholstery workshop and storage areas, including organizing tools, materials, and equipment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance staff.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and provide assistance as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in upholstery maintenance and repair, preferably in a hotel, hospitality, or residential setting, is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of upholstery fabrics, materials, and cleaning techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality workmanship in upholstery repair and cleaning tasks.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy furniture or equipment.
- Basic understanding of upholstery cleaning chemicals and their safe handling practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
