2. Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for glass and aluminum projects, including materials, labor, and other project-related expenses. Analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine project scope and requirements. Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

3. Material Take-offs: Conduct thorough material take-offs to determine the quantities of glass, aluminum, and other materials required for each project. Maintain detailed records of material quantities and costs for estimation purposes.

4. Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their project needs and preferences. Present and explain project estimates and drawings to clients in a clear and professional manner.

5. Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings and estimates meet industry standards and regulations. Review project documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a draftsman and estimator in the glass and aluminum industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
