**Job Title: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist**

**Job Overview**:
As an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist, you will provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral disorders, or other special needs. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed psychologist, you will implement behavior intervention plans and interventions designed to improve social, communication, and adaptive skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Direct Therapy**: Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the supervising BCBA or psychologist. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients using applied behavior analysis techniques and evidence-based interventions.

2. **Data Collection**: Collect accurate and reliable data on target behaviors and intervention outcomes during therapy sessions. Use objective measurement tools and behavior tracking methods to document progress and make data-driven decisions.

3. **Behavior Management**: Implement behavior management strategies and reinforcement techniques to promote positive behavior change and skill acquisition. Use prompts, modeling, shaping, and fading procedures to teach new skills and reduce problem behaviors.

4. **Skill Development**: Teach clients a variety of skills across domains, including communication, socialization, self-help, academic, and vocational skills. Break down complex skills into manageable steps and provide systematic instruction to facilitate learning.

5. **Communication**: Collaborate with caregivers, parents, and other team members to ensure consistency in implementing behavior intervention strategies across settings. Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA or psychologist to report progress, discuss challenges, and modify treatment plans as needed.

6. **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of therapy sessions, including session notes, data sheets, and progress reports. Complete required documentation in a timely manner and adhere to confidentiality policies and ethical guidelines.

7. **Professional Development**: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about current research and best practices in applied behavior analysis. Seek feedback from supervisors and peers to improve therapeutic techniques and effectiveness.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is desirable.
- Completion of training in applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help individuals with special needs achieve their full potential.
- Ability to follow directions, implement intervention protocols, and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
- Willingness to receive ongoing supervision and feedback from a BCBA or licensed psychologist.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet other employment requirements.

**Working Conditions**:

- ABA Therapists may work in various settings, including clinics, schools, homes, community centers, and residential facilities.
- Work hours may vary depending on client schedules and program requirements, with potential for evening or weekend sessions.
- Direct interaction with individuals with special needs may involve physical and emotional demands.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

- RBT/ABAT LICENSE (preferred)
