Cargo Agent

Manage customs documentation for import and export shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with customs officials and regulatory agencies to facilitate the clearance of cargo in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit customs declarations, invoices, and other required documentation for customs clearance purposes.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to coordinate cargo movements and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certificates are obtained for the import/export of goods.
- Operate company vehicles to transport cargo between facilities or to/from customs offices as needed.
- Work closely with the operations team to optimize cargo handling processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all cargo transactions, including receipts, invoices, and customs documentation.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and operational protocols.
- Willingness to work late hours when necessary to accommodate business needs and ensure timely clearance of cargo.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in customs documentation and customs clearance procedures in the UAE.
- Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent understanding of UAE customs regulations and procedures.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customs officials, clients, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to adapt to changing business requirements.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
