The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes in our company. This involves developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy, managing the recruitment and selection process, and ensuring legal compliance throughout all human resource procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee recruitment efforts for the company, designing and updating job descriptions, managing postings on job boards, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts with managers to ensure the company is staffed with qualified employees.
- Manage the performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
- Assess training needs, develop and monitor training programs.
- Nurture a positive working environment, preserving the company’s culture and values while also instigating new beneficial practices.
- Manage a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys, scheduling and conducting job evaluations, and monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
- Implement and revise the company's compensation program; recreate job descriptions as necessary; conduct annual salary surveys, and develop merit pool (salary budget) and salary increase percentages.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field is a plus.
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive.
- People-oriented and results-driven, with an ability to manage a variety of personalities and situations.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics and ability to use data for decision-making.
- Strong leadership, project management, and time management skills.

**Preferred Skills**:
- Professional certification such as PHR or SPHR.
- Experience in an international business environment.
- Proficiency in HR software such as Workday, BambooHR, or similar.
- Strong understanding of diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement strategies.
