Summary:
The Vice President of Project Management is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and guest satisfaction. They also play a key role in managing capital projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for hospitality operations
- Manage the hospitality budget and forecast revenue and expenses
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of hospitality staff
- Ensure that all hospitality operations meet or exceed guest expectations
- Manage capital projects from concept to completion
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality management, or a related field with a preference to a Master degree
- 20+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of success in project management
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with hospitality software and systems

Additional Skills:

- Experience in managing multi-million-dollar projects
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile and PRINCE2
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting software
- Legal knowledge of the GCC
- Excellent Financial acumen

Desired Skills:

- Experience in the luxury hospitality segment
- Experience with hotel renovations and expansions
- Knowledge of sustainability and green building practices
