**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor project costs to ensure they are aligned with the budget and project timelines.
- Review and validate project expenditures, ensuring all costs are recorded accurately.
- Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to track project progress and cost performance.
- Prepare cost reports and financial statements for management review.
- Assist in the development of cost control processes, policies, and procedures to improve financial efficiency.
- Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted costs, providing recommendations to mitigate cost overruns.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation across multiple projects.
- Forecast project costs and prepare cash flow reports.
- Analyze contracts, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure compliance with budget and project agreements.
- Support the preparation of budgets for new and ongoing projects.
- Liaise with external auditors during project audits.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the UAE, preferably in the construction or MEP industry.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of UAE construction and MEP regulations and standards.
**Preferred**:
- Experience in HVAC or electromechanical projects.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CIMA) are an added advantage.
