Job Overview:
The Building Cleaning Trainer is responsible for educating and training cleaning staff to ensure they maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards required for buildings and facilities. The trainer will teach the proper use of cleaning equipment, products, and techniques, as well as ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The goal is to enhance the quality of service delivered by cleaning personnel and contribute to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all building occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Training Programs:

- Create and deliver training programs on general cleaning procedures, proper equipment usage, and specific cleaning techniques for various areas such as offices, restrooms, common areas, etc.
- Customize training programs to meet the needs of different environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Continuously update training materials to reflect industry best practices and innovations in cleaning methods.

2. Training New Employees:

- Provide comprehensive training to new cleaning staff, covering core cleaning techniques, equipment handling, and company policies.
- Evaluate the performance of new employees during their training period and provide feedback to supervisors.

3. Ongoing Staff Development:

- Conduct refresher training sessions to keep staff updated on the latest cleaning standards, safety regulations, and customer service skills.
- Identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted training initiatives to address these areas.
- Train staff on new equipment and products as they are introduced into the organization.

4. Safety and Compliance Training:

- Teach staff how to handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure employees understand and follow OSHA standards and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Train staff on emergency procedures, such as responding to spills or accidents.

5. Quality Standard Evaluation:

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through on-site inspections and audits.
- Assess the skills and performance of cleaning staff during and after training to ensure adherence to cleaning standards.
- Provide feedback to cleaning staff and supervisors to help improve performance and service delivery.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain records of all training activities, including attendance, certification, and staff performance during training sessions.
- Prepare reports on the effectiveness of training programs and suggest areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback to management on any additional training needs or changes required in the training programs.

7. Equipment and Materials Management:

- Train staff on the correct use and maintenance of cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and pressure washers.
- Teach staff how to safely store and manage cleaning supplies to avoid wastage or safety risks.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in cleaning, sanitation, or janitorial services is an advantage.
- Experience:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cleaning or housekeeping
- Previous experience in training or supervisory roles is highly desirable.
- Skills:

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with various cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to motivate and inspire cleaning staff to achieve high standards.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
- Knowledge:

- In-depth understanding of cleaning standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations
- Familiarity with the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.Hide

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
