**The job**

We are currently looking for a **highly organised and energetic** individual to join modDsys as QA/QC Manager. Reporting to the Q&S Director, you will oversee the facility's strategies, objectives and operational status to ensure high quality processes and products. You will review and implement quality testing policies and procedures to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements.

- You have a minimum of 12+ years working experience as a QA/QC Manager within manufacturing / fabrication and / or construction
- You are versed in dealing with regulatory authorities
- You have an advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal organization departments, as well as suppliers, subcontractors and regulatory authorities
- You have advanced knowledge of project specific documentation related to new equipment turnover for installation, inspection, testing, repairs, and alterations, as well as safety programs

**Your responsibilities will include (but are not be limited to)**:

- Managing the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities during the project life cycle
- Establishing service standards for end users (i.e., internal department or external customer)
- Identifying and developing QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction of all QA/QC personnel
- Taking full responsibility for hold-point releases once all QMS functions have been completed
- Developing and implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes
- Overseeing supervision of all visual inspections, including 3rd party subcontractors
- Identifying and developing solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies
- Establishing and maintaining consistent and adequate administration procedures to ensure that all information is current
- Conducting periodic Quality Assurance Audits
