**1.** **Role Objective**:

- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s QA/QC policies and procedures and their implementation on job sites.
- Acts as the feedback loop on the QA/QC conditions present at job sites to the QA/QC & Health /Safety Manager.
- Responsible for the development and update of QA/QC statistics.

**2.** **Detailed Roles & Responsibilities**:
**STRATEGIC**:
1) Responsible for the Company’s ISO certification and other quality initiatives

2) Responsible for developing, maintaining and updating the systems needed to compile and record the Company’s quality statistics

**OPERATIONAL**:
1) Advises on-site staff and non-staff employees on quality policies.

2) Coordinates with Safety Officer on quality and safety procedures.

3) Compiles the Quality Management System for the project (e.g. project quality plan, inspection and testing plans ) and interfaces with the consultant/client to obtain approval

4) Ensures the implementation of the Quality Management System on projects

5) Ensures that all inspection, measure and test equipment used at site are suitable for use and calibrated by the concerned personnel.

6) Coordinates with the consultant for getting the inspection and testing plans at the appropriate stages as per the approved plan.

7) Ensures material specifications and construction works are in compliance with quality standards and contract specifications.

8) Reviews subcontractor documents, Quality Management System, and work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards

9) Issues and administers Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) as necessary and ensures follow up

10) Visits laboratories to ensure proper testing and inspection of materials.

11) Maintains archives for concrete pouring, concrete cubes, calibration certificates, inspection request files, lab testing reports, quality control procedures, and inspection testing plan.

12) Takes construction site photographs on a daily basis.

13) Conducts periodic internal Quality Audit of project activities

14) Responsible for compiling the final quality documentation in accordance with the conditions of contract

15) Recommends and implements appropriate procedures to implement quality standards

16) Assists Projects Control Manager in the preparation of monthly report

**Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10 years experience in construction

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
