As the Head Sushi Chef for Kokoro Dubai, your responsibilities would include:
1. Menu Developmen: Creating and updating the sushi menu, ensuring it reflects the authentic flavors and techniques of Japanese cuisine while also considering local preferences and seasonal ingredients.

2. Food Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation in all sushi dishes served at the restaurant.

3. Kitchen Management: Overseeing the daily operations of the sushi kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.

4. Staff Training and Supervision: Training and mentoring junior sushi chefs and kitchen staff in proper sushi preparation techniques, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.

5. Quality Assurance: Conducting regular inspections of ingredients, ensuring they meet quality standards, and implementing measures to prevent food waste and control costs.

6. Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and that their sushi dining experience meets or exceeds their expectations.

7. Hygiene and Safety Compliance: Adhering to all food safety regulations and ensuring that the sushi kitchen maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times.

8. Collaboration with Management: Working closely with restaurant management to develop strategies for improving sushi sales, maximizing profitability, and enhancing the overall dining experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working specifically with Japanese cuisine, with a focus on sushi preparation.
- A strong understanding of Japanese culinary techniques, including sushi rolling, knife skills, and fish preparation.
- Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Creativity and a passion for innovation in sushi presentation and flavor combinations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and management.
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service.
