Caregiver

**Job Summary**

STAY IN CAREGIVER, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals who require assistance due to age, illness, disability, or other conditions. Your role is to support their daily needs, ensure their safety, and enhance their overall quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Personal Care**:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility, including transfers, positioning, and walking.
- **Health Management**:

- Monitor and report changes in the client’s health or behavior.
- Administer medications as prescribed and manage medical supplies.
- Assist with medical appointments and follow-up care.
- **Household Support**:

- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, tidying, and laundry.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Run errands, including grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
- **Companionship**:

- Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Engage clients in social activities, hobbies, and conversation.
- **Safety and Security**:

- Ensure a safe living environment by addressing potential hazards and implementing safety measures.
- Respond to emergencies promptly and appropriately.
- **Health and Wellness**:

- Encourage and assist with physical exercises and therapies as recommended.
- Promote a healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition and hydration.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medication administration and health observations.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding the care plan.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a caregiving role or related field is desirable but not always required.
- **Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands and provide hands-on assistance.
- Proficiency in basic medical and caregiving tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- **Certifications**: CPR and First Aid certification preferred; specialized certifications (e.g., Certified Nursing Assistant) may be required depending on the role.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
