This role is essential in supporting student health and well-being, enabling them to achieve their full academic potential.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Healthcare Services:*
- Provide direct healthcare to students, including administering medications, treating injuries, and managing chronic illnesses.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings (e.g., vision, hearing, scoliosis) and follow up as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.

2. *Health Education:*
- Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Develop and implement health education programs and materials.
- Conduct classroom presentations and workshops on health and wellness.

3. *Health and Safety Compliance:*
- Ensure compliance with state and local health regulations and school policies.
- Monitor and manage immunization records and enforce immunization requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure a safe and sanitary school environment.

4. *Emergency Preparedness and Response:*
- Develop and maintain emergency care plans for students with special health needs.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Train staff in CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures.

5. *Collaboration and Coordination:*
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to support student health and learning.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, parents, and community health resources.
