**Job Title**: Accountant & Inventory Manager
**Department**: Finance & Inventory Management
**Position Type**: Full-Time
**Work Hours**: 11 hours per day (including 3 hours of overtime)
**Job Summary**:
The Accountant & Inventory Manager is responsible for managing all financial records and overseeing the inventory of the company. This dual role requires a highly organized and efficient professional who can maintain accurate financial records while also ensuring the company’s inventory is well managed and monitored.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Accounting Duties**:Maintain and update accounting records and files
Analyze budgets and create expense reports Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns Meet regularly with department heads to review budgetary allowances and expenses Prepare balance sheets and invoices Monitor company expenditures, profitability, and performance Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
- **Inventory Management Duties**:Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
Lead, oversee, and manage inventory audits Track shipments, inventory levels, and product sales Coordinate with other departments to ensure no shortage of stock Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc. Optimize inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as an accountant and inventory manager
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management software and databases
- Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
**Work Hours & Benefits**:
