**Position Purpose**

The Head of Finance is accountable for providing the company with strong, efficient and effective financial management, accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company’s financial affairs in order to ensure delivery of agreed upon strategic objectives.

Furthermore, the Head of Finance would ensure the following:
Build the Finance function to deliver exceptional financial services to Krush Brands team with a clear focus on continuous improvement, problem solving and development, ensuring a high level of performance with a customer focus. Maximize the impact of financial resources and the finance function enabling the delivery of high-quality services and programmes, which meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Maintaining the company’s financial health and increase profitability in the long run

Act as a Strategic Financial Adviser to the Leadership and Senior Management Team, providing sound advice, guidance and information on organisational performance, risks and opportunities. Take overall responsibility for preparation of management reporting, annual accounts and audit matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and governance structures

Compliance with all financial and statutory requirements

**Working Hours**
- 48 hours/week, 5 days/week, work schedules depend upon the volume of business.

**Primary Responsibilities**

**Financial Management**
- Overall responsibility for annual budget process for approval by the Executive Management
- Ongoing monitoring of expenditure against budget including reporting of variance analyses; advising on the multi-annual indicative budgeting as part of the strategy process
- Document, implement and operate financial controls as necessary and appropriate to the organisation
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of financial controls to ensure that they remain appropriate at all times
- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
- Managing and overseeing the company's banking and borrowing arrangements
- Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems
- Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place
- Ensure compliance with all Federal Tax Authority legislation, regulations and guidelines such as VAT
- Maintain strong working relationships with bankers, auditors, suppliers and other relevant third party
- Develop, maintain and update strong and effective policies and procedures in the Finance Department
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the CEO and Board

**Accounting & Control**
- Full Profit & Loss, Income Statement, Statement of financial position, Balance Sheet responsibility for the organization
- Reviewing variances to the forecasts and timely actions for variances
- Monitor and manage Accounts Payable & Receivable, Tax, Treasury and Payroll for the organization
- Manage the annual closing of accounts, year-end audit process and preparation of the statutory financial statements for the Company including managing the relationship with external auditors

**Financial Reporting**
- Prepare the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the organization
- Provision of timely and accurate financial information, analysis, and insight across the organisation, including income, expenditure, balance sheet, cash flow and budget holder information
- Provision of high quality, customer-focused advice and support to Managers and others with financial responsibilities within the organization

**Leadership, Management & Coaching**
- Lead and develop the Finance team by providing coaching and training, clear objectives setting, and regular feedback, to drive strong engagement and delivery
- Succession Planning - Coach and mentor the team’s performance to uplift and enhance skills to develop future leaders within the Finance Team
- Where applicable, provide support and coaching to non-Finance Managers to enable understanding of financial objectives
