We are looking for a Business development manager, who will actively support our sales and join one of the best commercial team in base metals.

**Role Purpose**:
The position reports to the Global Product Director, primary and focuses on executing the global product strategy through the optimization of product allocations. This includes developing and implementing models and tools to assess and monitor production, sales volumes, and efficiency, including ALLOW and recycling lenses.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with the Planning Department and Aluminium Division to forecast the production of different grades of primary metal.
- Investigating the efficiency of primary metal allocation into different products (e.g., deciding whether to sell high/low Fe primary separately or blend into mid-Fe primary).
- Working with the market research team to forecast global efficiency based on supply and demand models.
- Supporting the Product Director with global trader management and handling ad hoc tasks as required.
- Product development Project management (project kick off, tracking, pipeline monitoring)

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in International Trading, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in non-ferrous trading, with a preference for aluminum (physical trade and financial derivatives experience).
- Familiarity with trading systems and business models in aluminum operations.
- Understanding of current and future market trends and pricing patterns.
- Proven track record and relevant industry contacts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams.
- Proficiency in English is required, and Russian is preferred, as the role involves communication with Russian-speaking in-house counterparts.
