The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. **Your day to day**
Housekeeping Self-Checker is responsible for keeping guest room and all adjacent areas in a clean and well maintained condition. He/she is their own supervisor.
- Cleans and maintains guest rooms, guest corridors, linen rooms and pantries according to set standards and procedures.
- Release check out rooms through the telephone system as inspected.
- Replenish guest supplies.
- Ensures guest services specified by superiors and guests requests are promptly and courteously met.
- Process maintenance requests through QEMS System to make sure that there is follow up in a timely manner.
- Reports damage or malfunction in guest rooms to superior.
- Maintain a daily room checklist.
- Meets with superior and takes on daily assigned tasks.
- Records room status in allocated section accurately.
- Perform tasks as directed by the manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals.
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
- May have turndown duties
- May assist with other duties as assigned

**What we need from you**
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

- Furthermore a person with detailed knowledge on housekeeping within a quality luxury brand,
- Good English communication skills are essential both oral and written.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Hotel Property Management System, Opera,
- Proactive with a meticulous eye for detail
- Strong organizational, supervisory and communication skills
- Able to convey information and ideas clearly ( Communication )
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and Guest
- Must be able to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work well with limited supervision
