Clothing Constructor

**Clothing Constructor/ Seamstress Responsibilities**:

- Accurately measuring customers using tape measures to ensure proper fit of garments.
- Read and interpret patterns to cut and sew fabric according to specifications.
- Cutting fabric to specified sizes based on patterns provided by designers or customers.
- Altering or repairing customers' garments and other articles, which includes hemming, mending, lengthening, as well as taking in and letting out seams.
- Fitting garments on customers to determine how the alterations should be done.
- Constructing garments and other articles according to customers’ specifications and preferences.

**Clothing Constructor/Seamstress Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Aptitude for working with patterns and measurements
- Creativity and ability to come up with new design ideas
- Proven sewing experience.
- Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
- The ability to work under time constraints.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Good color sense.

**Education**:

- Basic High school (10 years of schooling).

**Experience & Skills**
- Two to three-year experience in cutting and stitching.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
