**Associate, Accounts Payable**

**Project Overview and Role**:
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Purpose of Position**

The primary purpose of this role is to support the accounts payable function in ensuring the accurate recording of supplier invoices, making supplier payments in a timely manner and that full compliance is maintained with appropriate credit terms and internal controls.

**Primary Responsibilities**

Your primary responsibilities will revolve around Accounts Payable and Field Voucher processing where you will be expected to:

- Undertake the day to day operations of the processing and payment of suppliers
- Maintain and regularly update the vendor master list
- Check invoices to ensure they have all the relevant information and are coded correctly
- Match purchase orders to the invoices
- Process invoices on the business system for each project/company
- Prepare the payment runs
- Processing of project field vouchers
- Reconcile the creditors to creditor statements and ensure general ledger balances with creditor sub-ledger
- Ensure Accounts Payable policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the Group
- Key in mobile phone, visa and Diners bill expenses
- Process expense claims and credit card statements
- Ensure the Accounts Payable Trial Balance and petty cash reconciles at the end of every month
- Any other duties as required within Finance

**Reporting requirements**

The role will report directly to the Manager, Accounts Payable with the following reporting requirements:

- Attendance of all team meetings.
- A monthly report on the status of your KRAs and any other important areas of concern.
- Exception reports as and when required.
- Any other reporting request as dictated by your line manager.

**Relationships**
- The role will form part of the Finance Department
- The role will be required to liaise closely with all Project Managers, Corporate managers, Senior Managers, other employees and external service providers.

**Required Qualifications**:
**Minimum education and experience required**
- Diploma/Degree in Finance, business or accounts administration preferred
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting

**Key Competencies and professional expertise required**
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable Systems and Procedures
- Fundamental understanding of Accounting
- Strong administration, organisation and planning skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
