**Job Summary**:
CITY ONE, a leading retail company in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a professional and courteous receptionist to join our team. The receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and customers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our retail store.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Greeting and Assisting Customers**: Warmly welcome and assist customers as they enter the store, providing information about products, promotions, and services. Direct customers to the appropriate departments or sales associates as needed.
- **Managing Phone Calls**: Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, addressing customer inquiries, taking messages, and transferring calls to the appropriate department or individual.
- **Maintaining Reception Area**: Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Monitor and replenish promotional materials, brochures, and other relevant information for customers.
- **Processing Transactions**: Assist customers with cash and credit card transactions at the reception desk, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Schedule appointments for customers with sales associates or store managers, coordinating availability and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- **Administrative Support**: Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining customer records. Support other departments with administrative duties as needed.
- **Security and Safety**: Monitor access to the store, ensuring compliance with security procedures and protocols. Report any safety hazards or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in customer service or hospitality management preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations, with a positive attitude and willingness to assist customers and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
