As a Business Development Executive specializing in the Chemical/Oil and Gas industry, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. Your responsibilities will include:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the Chemical/Oil and Gas sector.
- Analyzing competitor activities, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to formulate strategic business plans.
Client Relationship Management:
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Prospecting and acquiring new clients through targeted outreach, networking events, and industry conferences.
Sales Strategy Development:
- Collaborating with the sales team and senior management to develop effective sales strategies and set achievable revenue targets.
- Creating compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to the specific needs of clients in the Chemical/Oil and Gas industry.
Project Coordination:
- Working closely with internal teams such as R&D, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery of products/services.
- Monitoring project milestones, budgets, and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Expansion:
- Identifying new market segments, geographies, and industry verticals for potential business expansion and diversification.
- Developing strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to enhance market penetration and revenue streams.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and ethical practices in all business dealings.
- Generating regular reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress against targets and present actionable insights to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the Chemical/Oil and Gas industry.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, products, technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and market research tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
