**1. Job Summary**
The Receiving Clerk at TANG Hospitality is responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of all goods delivered to the restaurant. This role ensures that all items meet quality standards, verifies orders against invoices, and coordinates with kitchen and storeroom staff to maintain proper inventory levels and support smooth kitchen operations.

**2. Essential Job Tasks**
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality according to purchase orders and invoices.
- Record details of deliveries, including item descriptions, quantities, and any discrepancies, and report issues to the Purchasing or Inventory Manager.
- Maintain an organized and clean receiving area, ensuring goods are stored according to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of perishable items to preserve freshness and prevent waste.
- Coordinate with kitchen and storeroom staff to organize inventory in a way that is accessible and efficient for kitchen use.
- Track inventory levels for frequently used items and notify the purchasing team of reorder needs or shortages.
- Perform periodic inventory counts and audits to ensure records match actual stock and identify any discrepancies.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues related to shipments or product quality.
- Follow TANG Hospitality’s security, health, and safety guidelines, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Support the Purchasing or Inventory Manager in maintaining records and documentation for financial and regulatory compliance.

The Receiving Clerk operates in a busy luxury restaurant environment, collaborating closely with the kitchen, storeroom, and management teams. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of food safety standards. The Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring that goods meet TANG Hospitality’s quality standards.
