**The role**

**Role responsibilities**:

- Develop a 5-year QS growth plan for Middle East through establishing market and commercial opportunities drawing on relevant insights and data
- Collaborate with each of the Business Unit and Sales Leaders, understand their specific deliverables and effectively support these with the strategy and a Regional go-to-market approach
- Build the resources and capabilities to deliver scalable growth in the region and be a trusted advisor for institutions
- Implement the appropriate sales infrastructure and processes to support a regional sales approach, establishing the customer life cycle from inception to on-boarding
- Develop and enable the team to represent QS to senior level university and government stakeholders, and deliver on the regional strategy to deliver revenue growth, including thought leadership
- Lead and manage in region resources supporting the market, providing clear direction on accountabilities and developing the team
- Implement and create a series of data sets / dashboards to assess the impact of the regional approach in alignment with sales KPIs and revenue targets, sharing insights for product and service development
- And any other additional duties as required

**Key skills and experience**:

- Sales experience in higher education or relevant consulting business in the region
- Detailed understanding of Higher Education sector in Middle East preferably with knowledge of government relationships
- Strong sales leadership experience including pipeline and opportunity management, forecasting, territory and account planning, multi-channel client communication, client relationship building and account management
- Effectively bilingual in English and Arabic (native preferred) both written and verbal
- Added language skills in French would be highly beneficial
- Successful track record of developing and implementing market strategies
- Track record of building and leading commercial teams
