2nd Officer/Dredging vessels

Atlas Professionals offers various opportunities for starting & experienced 2nd Officers on Cutter-Dredgers.

The works can be performed within Europe or outside Europe. Our clients and positions are located worldwide giving you the chance too to work worldwide in interesting areas, state of the art vessels but also well-known Dredging projects.

**Job description**: The main tasks & responsibilities may differ per sector you work in but may at least consist of.
- In charge of the daily deck work operations
- Guide, Educate and train other deck crew
- Check cargo plans when working on merchant fleet
- Create a planning for your deck crew
- Timely planned maintenance execution for deck equipment
- Responsible for a safe execution of tasks

**Job requirements**: Minimum requirements:

- Valid STCW ’10 certificate of competence; 2nd mate None Limitations
- Valid seafarer medical
- Seaman’s book
- STCW’10 training certificates
- Designated security duties
- Excellent command of English language (both verbal and written)
- Able to work independent
