Looking for a Nursery Deputy Principal for a multinational nursery in Alain city. If you are a passionate early Years educator with proven track record in early years with a cheerful disposition and love of working with young children, we’d like to hear from you

**Nursery Deputy Principal duties may include, but not limited to**
- To assist the principal in managing the nursery and promoting the education of learners in a proper manner. To maintain a total awareness of the administrative procedures across the total range of nursery activities and functions.
- Assist the principal in her duties and deputising for the principal during her absence from the school.
- Assisting the principal with or, if instructed, being responsible for school administration e.g., arrangements to cover absent staff, internal and external evaluation and assessment, school calendar, admission of new learners, class streaming, school functions and marketing plan
- Supporting teachers with their planning: Reviewing Annual, term and daily plans.
- Assist with the development of a child's personal, social, language and physical coordination abilities
- Assisting the principal to play an active role in promoting extra
- and co-curricular activities at the nursery and the participation in sports and cultural activities organised by the nursery
- Guiding and supervising the work and performance of staff and, where necessary, discussing and writing or countersigning reports; and participating in agreed school/educator appraisal processes in order to regularly review their professional practices with the aim of improving teaching, learning and management.
- Work with others, including teaching assistants and nursery nurses as well as volunteer helpers, to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors
- Share knowledge gained with other practitioners and build and maintain relationships with parents
- Observe, monitor, assess and record each child's progress to be able to support teachers in their approaches to learning
- Ensure the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all day activities, both inside and outside the nursery
- Attend/organise staff meetings and staff training days to enhance and improve teacher performance.

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education along with not less than 5 years of experience are typically sought out.
- Or a bachelor’s Degree with CACHE Level 3 or equivalent plus 5 years’ experience or more
- EYFS Experience Preferred
- Has an ADEK Pass (preferred)
- Must have a current first aid training certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: AED8,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
