Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Subject Matter Expert - Wet Utilities **to join our team

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- **System Design and Optimization**:Lead the design and optimization of wet utilities infrastructure, including water supply systems, wastewater collection systems, stormwater management facilities, and related components. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- **Technical Analysis and Troubleshooting**:Conduct technical analysis, simulations, and modeling to assess the performance and efficiency of wet utilities systems. Identify and troubleshoot issues, proposing and implementing solutions to optimize system performance and mitigate risks.
- **Project Management**:May manage wet utilities projects from conception to completion, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and adherence to quality standards.
- **Staff Development**:Mentor and coach junior engineers and technical staff specializing in wet utilities, fostering their professional growth and development within the water and wastewater industry. Provide guidance on technical challenges, best practices, and project management methodologies, nurturing a collaborative and learning-oriented work culture.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry trends in wet utilities management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards. Participate in regulatory inspections, audits, and permitting processes as needed.
- **Research and Innovation**:Explore emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in wet utilities management practices. Collaborate with research institutions and industry partners to pilot new technologies and develop next-generation solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field;
- Proven experience (minimum 15 years) in wet utilities engineering roles within the water and wastewater industry, with a focus on water supply, recycled water, wastewater collection, stormwater management, or related areas.
- Strong expertise in the design, analysis, and optimization of wet utilities infrastructure and equipment, with proficiency in relevant software tools and modeling techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of wet utilities engineering principles, hydraulic modeling, fluid dynamics, and regulatory requirements in the water and wastewater sector.
- Excellent staff management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and findings to diverse stakeholders verbally and in writing. Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent within the wet utilities engineering field.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:
