**WASHERMAN**:
The washerman is responsible for superior garment cleaning quality and ensure all garments are cleaned in a organise manner while adopting the processes and methods of 5asec and representing the values of the Company.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Production**_
- Work with conciseness in order to give the best results and excellent quality of work and keep regularly looking for other, more advanced washing and wet cleaning techniques
- Operates the presses to established standards
- Use proper care of washing extractors used
- Responsible for proper operation, cleaning and maintenance of washer extractor
- Separate garments for appropriate laundry and wet cleaning
- Handle all garments with care
- Know all laundry care instructions and attend trainings and meetings within the department to be able to multitask
- Responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by Team Leaders
- Ensure production and KPI of the are strictly adhere
- Ensure proper temperature and choosing correct programme required as per the texture of the têxtile
- Segregate the load according to the colour, fabric type and soiled type
- Separates items needing pre-treatment and place them correctly in the appropriate spotting trolley
- Separates pressed items from the ones still need to be hand washed
- Checks for tears, Missing buttons during pressing and reports directly to laundry supervisor or delegate
- Follows all special instructions of customer and ensure that all urgent requirements are completed as requested
- Maintains a stock of all materials needed and inform superior about supplies that need to be ordered
- Ensures that all lint filters, chemical dosing pump, chemical compartments are all cleaned and maintained properly
- Helps in the dry-cleaning section when needed
- Reports all malfunctioning of equipment to superior
- Ensure the cleanness of the plant at all times.
