**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Financial Record Keeping**: Manage and maintain accurate financial records for construction projects, including project-specific general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, directly on-site.
- **Expense Tracking**: Monitor and record project-related expenses, ensuring they align with project budgets and company policies.
- **Transaction Management**: Process and record financial transactions related to project activities on-site, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- **Reconciliation**: Reconcile on-site financial documents, including bank statements and credit card statements, related to project expenditures.
- **Payroll Processing**: Assist with processing payroll for on-site project staff, ensuring accurate recording of wages, benefits, and deductions.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and present financial reports for individual projects, including cost tracking and budget compliance, to project managers and senior management.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that all project-related financial activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- **Audit Support**: Facilitate internal and external audits by providing on-site documentation and information related to project finances.
- **Coordination**: Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure financial data is accurately captured and project budgets are adhered to.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably with experience in construction or project-based environments.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping, especially for project-specific expenses.
- **Organization**: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, on-site environment.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project managers and site personnel.
- **Ethics**: High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- **On-Site Commitment**: Ability to work on-site at various project locations full-time, with flexibility to travel between sites as needed.
