We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machining Team Leader to join our team at. As the CNC Machining Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the finishing activities for metal and polymer parts produced through additive manufacturing processes. You will operate our milling and lathe machines whilst also leading a team of technicians and operators to ensure that finished parts meet the required tolerances, surface finishes, and quality standards, and are delivered to customers on time.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Lead and supervise a team of post-production technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operation of finishing activities.

2. Plan and coordinate daily workflow and production schedules to meet customer requirements and production targets, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources accordingly.

3. Oversee post-processing operations, including cleaning, surface finishing, polishing, deburring, and inspection of metal and polymer parts, to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of post-production processes and equipment, identifying opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and automation to enhance efficiency and quality.

5. Ensure that all finished parts meet the required tolerances, surface finishes, and dimensional accuracy, conducting regular inspections and quality checks using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.

6. Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams to resolve technical issues, address customer feedback, and implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed.

7. Maintain documentation and records of post-production activities, including production reports, inspection results, and process parameters, for quality control and traceability purposes.

8. Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for team members, identifying and addressing potential hazards and implementing appropriate safety measures.

9. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the post-production team, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning and development.

10. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in additive manufacturing and post-processing techniques, and actively participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; additional certification or training in additive manufacturing or post-production processes is a plus.

2. Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in additive manufacturing or precision engineering.

3. Background operating 5-axis CNC, lathe, and EDM machine is highly desirable.

4. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with post-production processes, surface finishing techniques, and quality control methods for metal and polymer parts.

5. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and surface profilometers, for dimensional and surface quality assessment.

6. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

7. Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions to improve processes and meet production goals.

8. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
