**Job Purpose**:
The Receiving Agent assists the Receiving Supervisor to maintain accurate stocks of supplies and materials required for operation of a correctional institution including the ordering, receiving, storing, issuing and accounting for inventory items; training and supervising inmates in the performance of such activities.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Ensures that all goods / items coming into the warehouse are properly ordered and received with the proper and complete documentation and in acceptable condition.
- Adherence to set SOP’s and ensures that proper receiving procedures are followed.
- Prepares related report to the received shipments.
- Counting, sorting, and weighing all inbound goods and authenticating the receipt of the same in accord with the shipping note.
- To maintain the receiving area clear and in perfect sanitary condition.
- Inspecting the received goods, making notes of any damage and discrepancies, and immediately reporting the same.
- Keeping records of all received goods / items.
- Proposing suggestions to the supervisor with regard to the documentation and storage.
- To issue at the end of the day the summary received report.
- To collect at the end of the day all suppliers invoices and delivery notes.
- Follow proper receiving and general safety and security procedures and standards.
- Assist in other department of the warehouse as needed.
- Provides prompt, courteous service to employees and supervisor.
- Assigned to other duties if requested.

**Skills & Qualification**:

- High school diploma and equivalent education.
- Having attention to details.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge in supply chain management.
- Having interpersonal skills.
- 2 years’ experience in logistics and warehousing within the Food production/Distribution industry.
- Being able to work with a team.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexible to work on weekends and at nights.
- Computer literate.

**Salary**: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
