Dubai International Academy is looking for an experienced **Teacher of Music** - August 2023

We are the longest established IB continuum school in Dubai and a leading education provider in the region, offering all four IB programmes (PYP, MYP, DP and CP) from KG to Year 13. **Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Music lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Plan and deliver annual musical and work with other events through the year
- Build an environment where students get opportunities to perform during school events, lunch time, local competitions and events
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Music, Education, or a related field
- Applicants with a Master’s Degree or higher will be given preference.
- Assessment for learning and personalised, inquiry-based teaching approaches will be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
- At least two years of experience teaching Music in either A-level, IB-MYP, GCSE, IB-DP or any other outcomes based education system preferred.
