**Description**:

- To coordinate and maximize the operational use of human resources and to partner the COMPANY Group Brands and Shared Services by embedding HR strategy and providing professional HR guidance and support to the business with the objective of adding value to the business.
- Build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes
- Assist with the development of and administer local human resources plans for the various Brands and Shared Services
- Participate in developing HR departmental goals, objectives and systems and recommend changes, when necessary
- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the HR department and services provided
- Develop, recommend and implement HR policies and procedures
- Undertake recruitment for S-level employees
- Conduct new employee orientation and exit interviewing
- Act as liaison between Brand and Shared Services Management to ensure that HR services are aligned with business needs
- Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives
- Assist Brand and Shared Services Management to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure that they are able to meet current and future performance standards
- Provide advice and coaching to employees when appropriate and required
- Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns
- Coach, counsel and guide managers before the execution of employee disciplinary action
- Assist with the determination and maintenance of budget allocation, latest estimates and accruals of staff costs and benefits plans
- Manage the administration of compensation including the processing, recording, and reporting of compensation-related actions taken
- Assist with benefit vendor management through reviewing reports, conducting performance meetings, and ensuring compliance with plan provisions
- Optimize the use of technology and develop tools to minimize transactional HR activity
- Foster relationships between the Brands and Shared Service functions to ensure high levels of service
- Identify any issues related to compliance, determine root causes, and suggest corrective action

**Required Experience**:

- At least 10 years working experience
- 5 to 8 years HR experience with at least 2 to 4 years in a HR supervisory / management role
- Possess knowledge of principles and procedures for employee recruitment, selection, training, compensations and benefits, employee relations and HR information systems
- Demonstrate strong business acumen
- Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between HR and business strategy
- Ability to identify new ways for HR to support the business strategy
- Ability to engage, motivate and influence people
- Effective team player
- Ability to manage ambiguity, risk and changing direction of projects and strategies
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations that require sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, deductive reasoning and analytical skills
- Good project management skills, particularly with respect to organization, prioritization and time management
- Ability to reach agreements and consensus despite differing goals and priorities
- Capacity to understand problems and issues in the context of the bigger picture and understand relationships among different business units.
