**What you will do**:
The Rental Growth Senior Strategy Consultant role supports the Rental Growth Strategy Managers (aka. Pod leads) in two areas: the development of Caterpillar dealer-specific RGPs (Rental Growth Plans); and the continuous improvement of the process that defines RGPs.

The role involves working with Caterpillar dealers and Caterpillar internal partners, Distribution Services and Rental Group, through deep data analysis, identifying industry opportunity concentrations, identifying problem statements & root causes, and ultimately building granular solutions captured in an action plan which will lead to robust governance and growth over the next 1-3 years. This position will be focused primarily in the EAME region.

**Role responsibilities**
- Gather information and assess the rental market including competitive issues, market dynamics, and service needs.
- Support development of 1-3 years strategic and tactical execution plans with a focus on rental business growth.
- Develop detailed action plans which can be built into a governable, and actionable, project.
- Identifying potential roadblocks across the organization and working across teams to enable progress.
- Main point of contact for RGP data and analytics while being responsible for the alignment of project needs and data requirements.
- Responsible for the accuracy of project analytics and additional supporting analysis
- Responsible for update of presentation material.
- Responsible for developing RGP Updates and Milestones materials.
- Support face-to-face workshops, VOC facilitation, and working meetings.

**Background/Experience/Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years, or more, of experience in the heavy equipment industry (preferably with both, Caterpillar and Caterpillar dealers)
- 5 years, or more, of experience in the heavy equipment rental business (preferably with both, Caterpillar and Caterpillar dealers)
- 4 years, or more, of Digital transformation and Digital business experience
- Experience with Power BI; advanced knowledge in Excel or Tableau
2 years of Data Analytics experience
- 2 years of Financial analysis experience
- Fluent in English and French
- Additional language Italian considered a plus would be a bonus
- Travel: ~20% travel requirement across EAME territory
