Job Position: Cafeteria Cook

Job Location : Ruwais
- Leans, cuts, prepares and cooks meat, fish, or poultry to a safe temperature.
- Prepares and cooks various items according to menus, special dietary or nutritional requirements, or anumber of portions to be served.
- Bakes bread, rolls, and pastries.
- Apportions and serves food to patients, patrons, customers, guests, and employees.
- Washes cooking equipment such as pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other pieces.
- Develops, compiles, and maintains food records regarding use and expenditures
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes
- Oversees and directs the kitchen staff.
- Maintains a calm composure during the periods of difficulty and hustle and bustle.
- Respond to questions and complaints from clients to help them resolve problems.
- Proficient in staff training for all back of house operations.
- Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilages.
- Assist with inventoryand sales budgetpreparation.
- Adhere to food safetyregulations.
- Assist employees with company regulations and procedures.
- Ascertain that all cleaning operations are carried out to the highest possible standard
- Make sure that products are properly labeled with nutritional content, prices, and expiration dates.
- Create a stocking planto prevent under stocks and overhangs.
- Be ready to pitch in to any department if necessary.
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Check food while cooking to stir or turn
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients

Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
