**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work alongside the CEO and key team members to help creat a clear framework between financial reporting and business planning
- Acting as a point of contact for auditors, tax bodies and any other regulatory organisations
- Review and analyse trends of expenses, revenues, and losses to help identify opportunities that will drive company performance
- Review the budget monthly and ensure the organization is meeting its financial objectives with adequate resolutions in place for any of variances to the budget
- Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Ensure the Group accounts prepared meet deadlines and are consistent with IFRS and other policies
- Deliver improvements to existing procedures, processes, controls, and efficiencies in reporting
- Perform general accounting activities for the Group by including reconciliation of accounts and accounting entries
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Ad Hoc duties as designated by management

**KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- University degree in Accounting/Finance or similar
- Significant PQE as a Financial Controller - minimum of 5 years
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office - Outlook, Excel)
- Strong problem-solving skills, judgment, and attention to detail
- Excellent presentation and highly developed skill of prioritization and timing
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast growth and changing environment
- Very good understanding of local tax legislation (VAT, corporate and personal taxation etc.) and IFRS as an applicable accounting framework
- Must be comfortable interacting at a Senior level in a culturally diverse environment and can build effective relationships
- Fluency in English is mandatory, any other language is advantageous
- Previous experience working in the Fintech sector is desirable

**Salary**: AED10,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
