The key responsibilities of an MEP BIM coordinator are as follows:
1. Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of MEP systems within the overall building design. Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts between different disciplines.

2. BIM Model Management: Develop and maintain the MEP BIM models using specialized software such as Revit or Navisworks. Ensure the models are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with project requirements and standards.

3. MEP System Design Integration: Coordinate the integration of various MEP systems (such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection) into the overall building design. Ensure that the MEP systems are properly connected, coordinated, and clash-free in the BIM models.

4. Clash Detection and Resolution: Utilize clash detection tools within the BIM software to identify clashes and conflicts between MEP systems and other building elements. Collaborate with the project team to resolve clashes and ensure coordination and spatial compatibility.

5. Standards and Guidelines: Establish and enforce BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices specific to MEP coordination. Ensure adherence to industry standards, project requirements, and relevant codes and regulations.

6. MEP Systems Analysis: Analyse MEP systems within the BIM environment to assess performance, energy efficiency, and constructability. Collaborate with engineers to optimize designs and identify potential issues or improvements.

7. Model Documentation and Quantification: Generate accurate and comprehensive MEP documentation, including drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs, from the BIM models. Ensure that the documentation aligns with project requirements and can be utilized for construction purposes.

8. Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members involved in MEP coordination. Conduct regular coordination meetings and provide timely updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

**Salary**: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- BIM Coordinator: 5 years (preferred)
