**Job purpose**:
- The job holder will be responsible for the preparation and managing complete Store design processes of various retail formats of footwear business. This includes all aspects pertaining to conceptual and detailed planning, construction, interiors for new stores and upgrade existing stores from a corporate perspective. The job holder will also be expected to have a comprehensive involvement in all aspects of project execution including material specification, contractor evaluation and finalization, site execution, cost control and troubleshooting whenever necessary.

**Minimum Qualification**:
- 8 - 10 years of work experience as Design - Architect

Minimum 3 years of work experience in Design and execution in the GCC handling Retail projects

Bachelor’s degree Holder in Architecture or Interior Design principles

Certification in Project Management or Design Management preferable

Ability to read technical drawings, understanding of engineering terminology, Drafting skills and Retail Project Management Coordination Skill.

**Advanced Qualification**:
- Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Max/ Sketchup, MS Office and other Adobe creative software.

Knowledge of BIM 360 will be an advantage.

Retail Format Design / Re-design

Verify Site Dimensions with measure drawing and Coordinate with brand principal to initiate Project planning stage

Interact to Area Managers /Concept Managers of responsible territory for area allocation of various department as per SPD

Understand Project specific requirement and Deliver Store Concept Design as per the requirement

Guide zoning in the stores / retail spaces as per the categories of products to be displayed by bearing in mind the principles of space management and profiles of the target consumers

Design & Develop retail layout & elevation for store based on grade /location /budget.

Defining design and Store layout standards for Centrepoint stores based on business data

Preparation of complete design development docket for approvals from PM/GM /CEO and mall/ authorities

Rollout new Design elements, fixture development and Enhancements for CP stores

Conceptualize / Redesign / Renovate existing retail formats as per business, customer, mall requirements and latest market trends

Develop all coordination drawing integrating the HVAC / MEP details and services as received from the Corporate or Consultant

Preparation of Item -specific B.O.Q for tendering purpose based on designs /details /specs in drawings

Oversee on-site executions and ensure design implementation as planned

Review and process all shop drawing/sample submissions and consult within the Projects Team and External Consultants, as appropriate, to ensure the design intent is being maintained

Assisting with technical support required for project completion in all territories

Project and Vendor Performance Management

Interface with all stake holders of respective projects on technical and project issues

Ensure new project costing is submitted for approvals

Manage projects on an ongoing basis from a technical delivery perspective, in accordance with CAPEX and schedules across the various stages - design, BOQ, tendering, vendor appointment, execution and delivery

Source, nominate, evaluate and appoint consultants and contractors / suppliers / vendors through tendering, negotiation of rates and finalization of contractual terms and obligations

Manage vendors and define project and set clear performance expectations

Identify and evaluate new products / solutions including material to be used bearing in mind quality and cost effectiveness

Provide material specifications and oversee procurement of the material from suppliers

Coordinate with external agencies like Consultants, suppliers, etc to ensure that the project is completed within the scheduled time

Design Coordination & Monitoring

Submit all drawings, details and reports to the relevant Teams / Mall management within the stipulated time frame

Review design and technical details of proposals received from Brands and suppliers

Stage wise project tracking to achieve project milestones

Coordination with mall designers with regards to project requirements.

Coordination with Suppliers /Contractors to achieve delivery of project on time.

Monitor and get desired output from the 3D/ CAD operators

Coordinate with the Projects team on all on site and shop fitting issues

Create and maintain procedures, installation manuals and technical notes for smooth on-site execution

People Management

Develop and mentor subordinates to move to the next higher level of job through career planning

Managing Contractors /Consultants at Site.

Ensure compliance to Company policies and values

Miscellaneous

Build and share knowledge of the latest retail design trends and computer aided technologies available

Any Other projects /assignments given by Seniors on need basis.
