Aspen Medical seeks expressions of interest from experienced and qualified midwife nurses to join our team in supporting an oil and gas project in Libya. As a midwife nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services in hospital or clinical settings.

**Contract Details**:
**Contract duration**: 3+ years

Salary will be automatically paid monthly in USD to personal bank accounts.

Paid leave, accommodation, and per diem provided

**Travel Allowance**: $100 USD will be provided for each flight

**Accommodation**:1 or 2-bedroom good standard apartments/units provided

**Insurances**: Provided

**Monthly Allowance**: Libyan Dinar equivalent to $100 USD per month provided

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess patients through the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of pregnancy.
- Assess nursing needs, considering their medical, social, cultural, and family circumstances.
- Communicate appropriately with patients in the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of pregnancy.
- Detect labor symptoms in women and provide appropriate nursing care.
- Monitor patients for contractions and fetal well-being.
- Interpret CTG for contractions and fetal well-being.
- Assist and support obstetricians and gynecologists in treating patients.
- Assist and support obstetricians and pediatricians in treating newborns at delivery and whenever needed.
- Ensure comfort and support to mothers and infants while executing midwifery functions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing/university or bachelor's degree with additional Midwifery Experience.
- Valid and active nursing license
- Certifications in midwifery training or equivalent are a plus
- Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
- Must have a valid passport
- Must be able to relocate to Libya for a minimum of 12 months period
