Notre travail ne se limite pas à offrir à nos clients des boissons exquises. Nous devons avant tout bâtir une expérience unique et mémorable. Nos barmans proposent un savoir-faire et des aptitudes propre au métier, tout en se tenant au courant des nouvelles tendances, proposer des spécialités locales et s’adapter aux besoins des clients. Ce métier ne se limite pas à la conception de boissons et reste également une profession où l’accueil du client est important. Les barmans doivent utiliser leurs connaissances et leur expertise pour rendre le bar agréable et parfaitement fonctionnel. Ils doivent être capable de communiquer et de travailler avec l’ensemble de l’équipe de l’hôtel, mais aussi avec le reste de la communauté ; ainsi qu’anticiper et répondre aux besoins des clients. Il est important de se sentir concerné par le service client et d’avoir le souci du détail, du moment où l’argent passe dans les mains du barman, jusqu’à la qualité des boissons en passant par les conseils prodigués aux clients.

Quel que soit votre emploi, certaines choses sont essentielles pour réussir : créer un espace de travail sécurisé, respecter les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise ou le secret professionnel. De plus, il est important de veiller à protéger les valeurs de l’entreprise au travers de l’apparence personnelle, comme l’uniforme. Les barmans doivent rester debout et en mouvement durant de longue périodes (se lever, s’assoir, marcher ), s’investir physiquement dans le travail (déplacer, soulever, porter, pousser et tirer des objets pouvant peser jusqu’à 25 livres (11,4 kg) sans assistance ; atteindre des objets en hauteur ou au sol ce qui comprend devoir se plier, faire des rotations du corps. Il est essentiel que les employés exécutent toutes ces tâches à la perfection. Ainsi, nos clients seront toujours satisfaits et notre entreprise continuera de prospérer.

QUALIFICATIONS RECOMMANDÉES

Niveau d’études: Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalence de niveau secondaire.

Expérience de travail connexe: Au moins 1 an d’expérience de travail connexe.

Expérience de supervision: Aucune expérience de supervision.
