**PURPOSE**

**The role purpose is a brief description of the position’s main functionality**
- You will be expected to adopt latest technologies, be able to help analyze and design solutions to solve business problems.
- You will also be required to contribute towards enhancing the maturity of internal processes including service management, release management, end user support, reporting, etc.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Key accountabilities are areas of responsibility that are essential of the position

**STRATEGIC**:
(Depending on the Position Level - Responsibilities that articulate the strategic role a position plays in an organization - i.e. strategy development, budget formulation, revenue and profit & loss responsibility)

1. Assess opportunities of technology modernization and standardization

2. Look at opportunities of introducing best practices in the area of process re-engineering, solution design and development

3. Thought leadership in other horizontal areas of architecture, data & analytics, digital etc.

4. Performing requirements analysis

5. Managing and leading project delivery for waterfall, agile and hybrid projects across the entire project lifecycle - Initiation,

planning, execution / realization, testing, go live and support

6. Creating and managing activity-level project plans

7. Leading due diligence and solution evaluation for business requirements

8. Demand management

**OPERATIONAL**:
Depending on the Position Level - Responsibilities that entail the delivery of operational day-to day activities and tasks

1. Business analysis to gather required system requirements

2. Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive design and development of the required

solution

3. Use techno-functional expertise to recommend most optimal solutions against business requirements

4. Proven track record in designing, developing and implementing solutions using widely available tools and techniques

6. Act as the Level 2 support for business users

7. Drive user adoption and have training plans in place

8. Create and manage delivery of initiatives end-to-end

9. Design and implement PoC’s to drive feasibility and assessments

11. Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision

12. Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities

13. Co-ordinating with various internal and external stakeholders across project delivery

14. Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

1. Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members

2. Develop team in line with target competencies

3. Motivate team members to maintain excellence in service delivery and have opportunities for professional development

4. Requires leadership qualities to mentor junior members of the team

5. Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams

6. Serving as a liaison between business and IT teams

**PRODUCT / PROCESS**:

Depending on the Position Level - Responsibilities that pertain to a proactive role in identifying

and improving existing business processes or products

1. Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence

2. Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes

3. Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

**EXPERIENCE**:
1. 6 to 8 years’ experience implementing at least 3 projects end-to-end

2. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field

3. A history of leading and supporting successful projects

**KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES**:
What is the role typical measures of performance?

1. Prepare proto-types and showcase to business users to collect their feedback

2. Maintain optimized system performance

3. Time to market and “early” releases; Agile delivery

4. Minimal reliance on support (< 15-20% of total capacity)

5. Adoption of solution in the organization

6. Peer appreciation and feedback

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL**:
1. Working with users in a requirements analysis role

2. Basic levels of process mapping

3. Ability to plan, organize, and structure work.

4. Ability to design and configure solutions in line with business requirements and specifications

5. Adept at working in an agile / hybrid delivery environment

6. Proficient in resource and effort estimations, scoping and analysis

8. Excellent documentation skills

9. Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills

**EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL CERTIFICATIONS**:
1. Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, business related field or an MBA
