AmazonTransportation Services (ATS) Line Haul is looking for a talentedBusiness Analyst who will own analytics and develop solutions todrive insights and optimization for Network Planning andForecasting. As a member of this team, you will have an opportunityto be a thought leader in Amazon Logistics and work with a group oftalented program managers, product managers, research scientists,software developers, and business leaders to design the Amazonnetwork of the future.

This position requiresexcellent analytical thinking, ability to quickly approach largeambiguous problems and apply analytics, technical and engineeringexpertise to rapidly analyze, validate, visualize, prototype anddeliver solutions. This position also requires significant crossfunctional work and integration with transportation, tech,operations and finance. Successful candidates will thrive in afast-paced environment

As you further yourcareer as a Business Analyst at Amazon, you will focus on improvingcorporate reporting frameworks and data visualization. You willanalyze performance data, discover and solve real world problemsand build metrics and business cases to improve decision making. Weare focused on your success and want to build strong leaders withinAmazon Transportation Services. You can expect to leverage youranalytical skills and have full ownership of the projects you workon.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex data analysis toidentify opportunities to reduce fulfillment costs as well asimprove efficiencies and customerexperience
  • Design, develop and establish KPIsto monitor analysis and provide strategic insights to drive growthand performance

  • Ability to perform/ownreoccurring and ad-hoc business intelligenceprojects
  • Develop standardized metrics toevaluate and benchmark pertaining to short and long term networkplanning and forecasting
  • Communicate complexanalysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, bothverbally and in writing

BasicQualifications

  • Bachelor's degree orequivalent
  • Experience defining requirements andusing data and metrics to draw businessinsights
  • Experience withExcel
  • Experience withSQL
  • Experience making business recommendationsand influencing stakeholders
  • 2+ years ofprofessional work experience

PreferredQualifications

  • 3+ years of Excel (including VBA,pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and datavisualization tools such as Tableauexperience
