Dubai, United Arab Emirates Brighter Admissions Full time

Maintains academic quality and departmental vitality through the oversight, recruitment, and retention of faculty, staff, and students.
- Ensures smooth daily operation of the department's faculty, staff, and physical facilities and schedules.
- Coordinates the department's schedule of course offerings.
- Manages the departmental budget and physical and technological facilities.
- Involves faculty and other stakeholders in broad decision-making and planning.
- Communicates information concerning policies, decisions, procedures, and activities to the department.
- Attracts and maintains a distinguished and diverse faculty, staff, and student body.
- Supports and develops the vision, mission, and future goals of the department and the university.
- Fosters positive morale and cohesiveness throughout the department.
- Mentors and guides faculty so they may better mentor students, set academic goals, investigate creative interests within the field, and accomplish professional goals.
- Teaches classes as needed.
- Advocates for and supports the university through extracurricular activities including, but not limited to, open houses and graduation ceremonies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**STEM Teacher Responsibilities**:
**- Should fully understand one or more curriculums mentioned here - IBDP, A levels, American, CBSE, and so on**
- Should be equipped to develop STEM curricula.
- Plan daily lessons.
- Adopt a data-driven attitude towards measuring learners’ progress.
- Develop STEM learning activities and hands-on material for classes.
- Demonstrate an awareness of different student backgrounds and cultures.
- **Communicate regularly with parents about students’ shortcomings and achievements.**
- Provide extra support to students who need it.
- Monitor student growth to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Use learners’ data to constantly refine your curriculum.
- Provide regular feedback to students.

**STEM Teacher Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- State teaching license in the relevant field.
- Knowledge of STEM best practices.
- Empathy and great interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with essential computer software such as MS Office.
- Experience working with children and adolescents. Previous experience as a STEM teacher will be advantageous.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Good teamwork abilities.

**Salary**: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
