About the role – STEM and Computing Teacher for Key Stages 1-3 (Years 1-8)

BC Academy, located in Dubai's Jumeirah district, seeks an enthusiastic, innovative and forward-thinking STEM and Computing practitioner to care for and educate our Key Stage 1-3 students. The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher of Primary and Middle School STEM and Computing possessing QTS as well as an expert knowledge of the English National Curriculum and of educational technology in general.

We seek a teacher with a wide-ranging interest in STEM, programming and the application of educational technology as a driver of innovative pedagogy, who balances excellent teaching with building positive and appropriate relationships with all students, not only those pre-disposed to success in their specialist area. The successful candidate will also have a deep knowledge of health and safety and best practices in child protection, as well as event management (for arranging competitions, exhibition evenings and other events).

About our school

BC Academy was founded eleven years ago to provide multilingual education to Preschool-age children. Since then it has grown into a seven-campus establishment, with two International Schools, 5 Preschools and a new Preschool, Primary and Secondary campus opening in the heart of Dubai's Jumeirah district, opening in 2024.
